We install various programs
for various purposes. Those programs run when we start windows. As a result windows start up slowly. It is
disgusting for us. We can reduce start up times by uninstalling some programs
and some tricks. Let’s go.
1.
Write down ms config in search box of start menu and press
enter. System configuration window will come.
2.
In this window
click start up tab. Here you can see many checked program list. Unchecked the unnecessary program
carefully.
3.
Then click the
boot tab. In this window you see timeout box written 30 sec. below. Click here
and write down 5 sec. click apply and OK
4.
Then restart the
computer and you see the results.

Monitor or display is the
main output device of a computer. When we work in a computer text and graphics
is shown on the monitor. Most of the desktop monitor use Liquid Crystal Display
(LCD), Light Emitting Display (LED), and Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) etc. technology
for output. Sometimes monitors screen is not stable! Why?

The AGP cable may
be loose connected.
2.
The AGP card /IC
(integrated chip) may be defected.
3.
Low voltage may cause this problem.
4.
It can occur for monitors refresh rate.

Solution:
1.
Check the AGP
cable connection. If it may loose, connect tightly.
2.
If the AGP card
is installed, check it by another one. If the card is defected it should
change. Again if AGP card(IC) is built in to the mother board, it should change
the board.
3.
To keep voltage
perfect we should use voltage stabilizer.
4.
To fix the
refresh rate click( for windows XP & CRT monitor)
Start>
Control panel > Display>Settings>Advanced>Monitor
Set
the refresh rate 85 hertz then click ok.
I wish the problem will be
solved.

RAM
is most important parts after processor for computer performance. Especially if
you accomplish graphics or game related work you need more RAM. If your
computer had lack of RAM, you can speedup work by installing new ram. More ram
more speed. Results of memory upgrading is program loads quickly, web page
loads quickly, many program can run at a time. Some times we install new RAM
but it does not response or show. Why?

Installed RAM’s
bus speed is more that it does not support on motherboard.
2.
RAM chip is
damaged.
3.
RAM chip is
installed in wrong process.

Solution:
1.
Reading mother
board’s manual be sure which bus speed support this board .If it does not support
you have to change any one, mother board or RAM.
2.
If you install
RAM on wrong way computer will give a bip sound pressing the power button. If that
is happened, pull out the RAM and again install with pressure and lock the
clip.
3.
Check the RAM
installing another mother board in same bus speed. If here RAM does not work we
can decide that the ram chip is damaged.
In
this case you can change the RAM form the vendor.

It
is trouble to maintenance a printer specially ink jet printer. It should print
regularly otherwise its head can block by the condensed ink. If the printer
head is damage it can replace by another one but price is high and a new
printer can buy. Another hardware problem is printer on but paper pulling LED
is blinking and paper doesn’t pull in to the printer. Why?
1. Printer’s sensor does not work. Some times paper
jammed in the roller in that case if we try to pull the paper out of the
printer the sensor can damage.
2. Printer’s sensor is dusty.
3. Paper doesn’t keep properly to the paper tray.

Solution:
1. If the printer’s sensor does not work, we should go to
a hardware engineer who is specialist in printer. After changing the sensor it
would work again.
2. Keep paper appropriately to the paper tray.
3. If printer has no other problem, it will pull the
paper perfectly. And blinking will stop.

Various optical disk drives
are used in computer. Now a days DVD-ROM drive is cheap and available for all
computer users. This optical disk drive read from optical disk (CD/DVD) and the
output is shown on the monitor.
It has some problems. One of the problem is disk
drive can read some disk and some disk can’t. Why?
1.
Optical disk
drive has various speeds for read the data. Generally a high speed write disk
can’t read a low speed disk drive.
2. If a DVD-ROM drive’s lens has dust it
some times can’t read old disk.
2.
The disk has more
scratch, as a result it has problem to read.

Solution:
1.
You have to
change the DVD-ROM drive for update the pc.
2.
If DVD-ROM
drive’s lens is dusted it can clean by DVD cleaner. It can do servicing by the
hardware engineer.
3.
It can check the
DVD-ROM is perfect by using a good disk.
